Company New Year’s Eve Invite & Postcard

This project centered on designing a memorable New Year’s Eve invitation and postcard for Sam’s Town Las Vegas, aimed at capturing the festive spirit of the celebration while standing out from typical holiday-themed designs. Rather than defaulting to the usual black-and-gold palette or clichéd party motifs, I explored a bold and unconventional color scheme featuring rich purples, light blues, and accents of gold. This approach created a more modern and distinctive aesthetic that conveyed both excitement and sophistication.

Using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, I layered atmospheric gradients and lighting effects to evoke a sense of anticipation and transition. The custom typography balanced elegance with readability, ensuring the invitation looked stunning in print and translated well as a thumbnail for digital sharing. Out of several designs, this one was chosen for its refined and non-traditional take on New Year’s Eve, a design that feels festive without ever feeling overdone.
